1990 – Lake George, NY

• After South Carolina in August, its time to try the Adirondacks again.
• Depe Den – accommodations are “rustic”
• Finding a half of a dill pickle nestled into the worn brown shag carpet in the bedroom – the cabin could use some “freshening”
• Dad arrives with back problems.  He turns out to be one of the healthier people on vacation as numerous people get a stomach virus
• Some of the people who weren’t sick enjoyed the pool, boating on the lake and a visit to Lake George Village and Fort William Henry
• Swimming in the mud at water’s edge – it had a delicious third world appeal
• Playing pinochle
• Karen and Mark – busy corralling children – dreaming of the day when young single Frank and Mary would be busy changing diapers … ahhh
