overshoots the house at least twice looking for the driveway - except
Karen. She nails it the first time.
- The
scream heard ‘round York: Rudy picks up 40 lbs of Rouladen in a flimsy
aluminum tray and spills juice all over the oven and kitchen floor (Anna’s
the screamer, not Rudy, shockingly)
- Arlington
Schneider dinner is served at midnight
- Dinner Monday night was for 33 but dwindled to the low 20s
once Joe, Wes & kids and Brian & family left early in the week.
- Oven
broke, kitchen faucet broke, propane ran out
- “Handyman”
is 90+ years old, owners high school principal, and really good at
agreeing that the things we said aren’t working are in fact not working
- Retired Anna
hasn’t opened a laptop ONCE
- Lobster
dinner for 20+ by Big (Old?) Mark and family. Whole lobster disassembly lessons provided
by the New Englanders of the group.
- Visits
from A.J.’s parents, Kai’s friend Marcus and family, and Franks and Anna
friends Martha and the Palances
- 1 or 2 games every night by the now-adult "kids"
- Hot Seat, Fishbowl, Jackbox, Heads Up, etc.
- So glad the Marinellis, Grays and Ben (& family!)
returned after missing a year!
- Brady
is the undisputed champion at “splitting the G” with pints of Guinness
- Ben
and Daniel both slot in Can Jam. They jump into each others arms in
celebration.
- 14 Schneiders descend upon Buck-a-Shuck. The restaurant runs out of chairs and 108 oysters are eaten
- Determined spikeball players on the beach scoop pounds of seaweed off the shore in order to play
- Second year in a row with no golfing outing. Are the Schneider’s finally coming to terms with their golfing talents?
- Medoff’s go Candle Pin bowling - high score is 67 - they come to grips with their bowling talents
- Walks along the Marginal Way, visits to York Harbor Beach and the Nubble Lighthouse, and strolls along the Wiggly Bridge
